We need to talk about the water polo ball part. First of all, archer’s water polo ball on the NX-01 “rarely saw its intended use”??? Does this mean that it eventually will? ARE WE GOING TO SEE ARCHER PLAY WATER POLO ON THE ENTERPRISE????? (please don’t answer this for real though because spoilers)

We meant planes*. She has written songs for planes in ConAir and Pearl Harbor.

Not sure about all movies she has written for, but of her Oscar-nom songs, the only space ship is in Armageddon. She has written for some places though in ConAir and Pearl Harbor. Also, she wrote the song Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now for the band Starship, if that counts!

Our host @uajamie.bsky.social has spent hours of research time coming up with that list. There are no good resources for finding a list of tv show theme songs written by a particular person. These were the ones we could find because they released press releases about it. There are likely many more.

The only other tv show theme songs we know about that Diane Warren wrote were for the Apple TV show Jane, the Disney show Electric Bloom, and at least the last three theme songs for The View.
