Yeah, I'm not going to get the #LEGOStarWars Advent Calendar next year, they're clearly running out of ideas. A pre-'constructed' Babu Frik on Day 1? Whatever on earth this is supposed to be for Day 2?? What, is it Babu's workshop?! This had better improve soon...

Annoyingly, I've just looked online for a graphic of the old spinner racks and and just found a display company here in the UK that are selling something similar at about half the price I paid. Typical!!

OMG I now own a proper spinner rack for me comics!! Probably paid way over the odds and only four issues per holder but that's more than enough for the latest issues and special keepsakes! Just need to get a HEY!!KIDS COMICS topper for it now!

...being bored slightly by build of the saucer section as it got a bit repetitive with the plates and quadrants... Knew it was coming, though, so muscled up and powered through. Defo an 18+ model, VERY few spares, you had to get it right. All in all, a great experience and a lovely final model.

...not going to lie, there were highs and lows to the build - the nacelles were a highlight, seeing those come together, being boggled by the sheer design of the nacelle arms to hold that structure together...!

...and she's done!! Much like the 'real thing', LEGO have engineered the NCC-1701 beyond belief - still baking my noodle that that entire saucer section is held in place to the drive section WITH A SINGLE PIN!! She's gorgeous... And now to clear space next to the Falcon!
