i wonder how many vertical cdramas i can watch in one long weekend...i know i will have to do chores and there will be some gaming AND i am going to lunch with my friends tomo but monday is wide open with zero plans...i can really lock in lol. I have so many tabs open waiting to be watched.😂

Haha i only seem to come on here to gripe about my face pain/medication or talk about video games. Anyways its a gripe. I woke up with a headcold & the only thing that dries up my runny nose is something i am supposed to only take with the doctors direction coz it can mess up my other meds 😭

i bought Hytale and here is my lil character. I have only played a little bit - is it like Minecraft where there are heaps of different seeds or is it the same world each time? there was this run down building close to where i spawned and i have made it my temporary hovel.

Traumatic breaking news is everywhere. It ambushes us. Secondary trauma (vicarious trauma) is a mental health threat. It's what journalists, healthcare workers, and social media mods experience when they cover tragedies like casualty events or interview violent crime survivors. Right-wing assholes thrive on crushing our empathy, but humans are naturally empathetic. Empathy, like diversity, is our power. Let's protect it, sharpen it.
"Secondary trauma - aka compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, or secondary traumatic stress - occurs when someone is significantly impacted by someone else's trauma," per PsychCentral. It can lead to PTSD-like symptoms (depression, apathy, anger, helplessness, nightmares, hypervigilance). It's seldom acknowledged and often stigmatized when it's from news or social media.
What's going on inside? The answer is: A perfectly reasonable, but unpleasant response. Play Tetris, Pokemon Go, Candy Crush, or any game you like. This is called "imagery-competing task intervention," and a 2025 study found that 20 minutes of Tetris on their phones helped reduce PTSD symptoms in healthcare workers coping with secondary trauma.

i dont know if i posted yest but the pharmacist said it was cool to take both medications for my face pain at the same time. the old one i have to slowly ween off it otherwise it causes bad side effects. i can feel the new meds helping - not fully but im having less pain so thats a win!

My doc wants me to try a different medication for my nerve pain. Im pretty anxious about it. Also just reading up on the new one it sounds like its not great if you have liver probs and my GP is always monitoring my liver...dude did you read up on the this to before you prescribed it??? Jfc.
