First 15 Borsuk IFV will be delivered today to the POL military.

They are from the first order which is supposed to eliminate remaining problems with serial production.

I wonder how the new Polish subs will be named.

One will be ORP Orzeł (4th with this name) for sure for obvious reasons, but I am not sure about the rest.

So today it was officially announced that the next three Polish submarines will come from Sweden.

Cooperation between Poland and Sweden has always been beneficial to both countries and kept Russia where it belongs, so I am glad it is so intense in recent years.

Yes. I think that the scenarios - for solo and 2 player coop games have just perfect cover art.

Wheels of Industry, Shackles of Modesty and Claws of Decadence.

First game of Bohema. Life of an artist in XIXth century Paris is never easy...

Great game - here the Polish edition - which is more narrative than I expected. Easy to learn, fun to play and the art is gorgeous.

Winning hand (not mine) on the 2nd picture.

So Russia devastated Polish monuments commemorating the Katyn Massacre.

For obvious reasons.

Fuck those people.

Finally an official confirmation that anti-drone systems from Polish APS are used in Ukraine.

Unofficially we knew there are several in use as well as possibly 100s of radars from this manufacturer in Gdynia.

In Poland we have some problems with electrification - see the map from a decade ago (electrified in yellow), but it is considered a process which is continuing. Especially recently after we mostly finished building all important roads and railways are given a prorioty also due to military needs.

Interesting. Super fast adjustment of all sort of legal issues to allow people to work really helped.

Sometimes it is useful to see what is the current agenda of people like this scumbag.
October 29, 2025 at 1:25 PM
I suppose this can end this way.

Via Baltica on a map.

Not finished yet, but already connects Lithuania with the rest of the EU.

The lightning was popular during women protests in Poland and of course far right was eager to call them 'nazis'. However stupid it sounds they do so constantly.
October 16, 2025 at 7:53 AM
That is how it was negotiated in 1943. Simply Stalin grabbed what he was allowed to take (after all who lived where was not important to him) and the current Russian leadership is the same.
It is a mistake not to notice this opportunism.
In case of Ukraine they shouldn't be allowed to get anything.

Which reminds me I bought this over a decade ago.

It is from the experience of the Ukrainian F-16 pilots that we know that certain fighter planes can see the difference between real and decoy drones.

In some cases they are the only weapon which can intercept and destroy such targets.

Fighter planes can see the difference between real and decoy drones.
Obviously inexpensive solutions are necessary and already being tested in Ukraine, also by many companies from EU - including Poland.
It is a matter of time before they will be deployed in sizable numbers where needed.
September 19, 2025 at 8:00 AM
That is why literally everybody is developing such systems. For example in Poland there are two entirely new ones, one (uses multiple machine guns) is being tested in Ukraine while the second has just reached maturity and is being tested by the Polish Navy.
Also we can 'see' decoys because of heat:

Chinese minister of Foreign Affairs was in Poland on Monday, but failed to deliver anything Poland expects for opening the border. Previously China this way was forced to force Belarus to stop sending refugees they were transporting from Africa and Middle East.

If I am not mistaken it was the last Danish territory where Danish M41 DK-1 tanks were still in use. Nice, light tanks useful in defence of the small island, which was supposed to be invaded by... the Polish troops, just like a large part of Denmark. Which is just as weird as US threats this year.
September 18, 2025 at 11:17 AM
It happened several days ago and was planned for the time of the Zapad 2025 military exercises. However due to the Russian intrusion into POL airspace the border will stay shut "indefinitely".
Chinese minister of foreign affairs was on Monday in Poland, but that changed nothing.

Some snapshots from a recent gaming session:

SETI: Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence for the 15th time and still exploring the game. Landing on Phobos/Deimos twice was certainly something different.

Elves? Nope, but I wouldn't be so certain about the dwarfs.
September 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM
This is something many of us, including me, are saying since 2022.
The agreement between Ukraine and Poland signed in Warsaw not a long time ago allows just that, but NATO assetes are necessary. And we know how to target RUS suicide drones and which are the decoys we do not have to destroy.
September 15, 2025 at 8:06 AM
How are Chinese tanks doing?

Not that great.

Before we accept Chinese attampts to tell us how great their army is we should accept there is a difference between a parade and exercises... or real combat.
