Only 5 minutes into this audiobook and I AM SEATED!!!! Wow what an incredible and mysterious opening to a story. I was smiling while listening to this intro because I was enthralled with how in such a short time I was already so hooked.

The way I'm eating this book up!! The author has packed in so many details about the people, the world, history and myth that even when we are in a particular character's pov I still can get a feel of what the other characters are thinking and feeling 👀. Rn I feel tense and worried! #BookSky 📚🩸

Finished The Possession of Alba Díaz earlier this week! Loved it! 👏🏾 I really liked the lore and povs we got in this story. It felt slow at times but it didn't bother me, made certain elements sink in. #BookSky #HispanicHeritageMonth

These stories have been very interesting. I'm curious if these stories are all connected? But maybe that was me being sleepy. "The Wife on Ambien" was an unnerving & quick story. Reading "Machine City" currently. #BookSky #ShortStories
