Just finished these two. Excellent historical fiction. The first I listened to, narrated superbly by Emma D'Arcy, about a painter determined to seek justice when she experiences a traumatic event. The second, about a woman discovering the truth about her godmother's life and death.

This dystopian thriller is reminiscent of Never Let Me Go, but I enjoyed it more. Listened on Audible and the narration really built up the sense of utter dread. Thoroughly recommended #booksky

Belated Mother's Day with my mum and my 94yr old grandma. Really hard seeing the person you knew growing up vanishing with Alzheimer's. I played Debussy and Chopin pieces to bring back memories and she cried. A very cruel disease.

Really enjoying this beautiful book at the moment. Also was immediately engrossed when I started The Lost Passenger by Frances Quinn on Audible.
