Thinking more about how much more I would have probably enjoyed 1000xRESIST if it was more like its obvious inspiration of AI:TSF, and kept the walk around segments exclusively to dream sequences instead of making me walk around the orchard from point A to point B all the time

I absolutely LOVE the "pay what you want, also here's the recommended amount" model that Itch uses

I just don't think ranking games is eeeeever a good use of time. I wanna see less "top whatever games" and more "here's a list of cool games and these are the reasons why I liked them"

I'm done with 1000xRESIST now. It's... actually pretty hard to put into words how I felt about it
I think the best summary is that it's one of the most special _stories_ I've ever experienced, but it doesn't quite manage to be a special _game_
