Please consider signing this petition to make a proper public transport hub in Oxford. It would integrate train and bus services and free up Gloucester Green to make a new town square or even (shock!) a playground, as our fab Green councillors are suggesting.

This is crummy treatment of students and teachers who have been working hard to pursue a subject that interests and excites them. I’m sorry the government feels that is something to discourage rather than reward. I hope there are ways to ameliorate the damage done today.

This is fantastic. I've sadly declined several conference invitations that involve flights the past couple of years, but had a blast speaking at more conferences by train across Europe. I am grateful for a sympathetic partner who has taken on longer periods of solo domestic labour to support this.
