Also, the idea that the solution is to deny Jewish kids smart phones until senior year: when I did interviews and asked people what they turned away from in their Jewish upbringings, one of the most common answers was “how I was taught about Israel.” I don’t think this will help. 2/2

Further, the administration is asking for the personal details of people who made confidential complaints about antisemitism, thus putting at greater risk the very people it is claiming to want to help, while reinforcing the false equation that Jewish safety requires suppressing democratic freedoms.
