What a delight it was to organise the Vernon Lee and the European Cultural Heritage conference in Paris these last two days! So many amazing people and wonderful encounters... such fantastic talks! It was an honour to organise this conference with Christophe Gelly and to meet so many great scholars.

I had the immense honour of carrying out a week-long research stay at the British Institute of Florence last week and to consult the Vernon Lee Archive, which contains 400 volumes from Vernon Lee’s personal library, annotated in her own hand. What a treasure trove of discoveries!
