This probably isn't the point right now at all but the media framing this as having taken place near the White House really exemplifies just how misunderstood calls for D.C. statehood are outside of literally anywhere but the District.

This probably isn't the point right now but this situation is really another example of how widely misunderstood calls for D.C. Statehood are outside of the District itself.

You know that everyone is going to act completely normal about this too.....

It feels so insignificant compared to the totality of everything that is happened but I'm so glad that public opinion is really starting to turn compared to two years ago.

Ms. Rachel is really the perfect example of someone using their white woman privilege to advocate for the marginalized.

Here’s the Washington Post reporting on smoke at that station in 2019. No mention of the White House, since it isn’t the White House.

Of all the witnesses, attorneys, the court, etc.

For a high profile murder case this is a relatively normal timeline.

Two years is very normal. There was likely a lot of time doing investigations and we know it took them quite a while to finalize charges.

The biggest issue is that the trial would have likely lasted several weeks and that's A LOT of time to put on a court calendar and coordinate the schedules 1/

I apologize, I do agree that the charges are beyond bullshit.

No one has to overhear this for it to be conspiracy.

I think the charges against these two men are bullshit but threats can be overheard.

the more likely scenario, as always, is that the pigs be lying.

Virginia is a one-party consent state for recording, the officer could have done so legally.
