something something keeping mod help and guides behind social servers is a detriment in a million and one ways and this is one of them

in a server of thousands of people that is centered around modding and mod help you don’t know who’s reading what you say and i think it’s good to keep that in mind, idk. i try not to bring that kind of energy anywhere a hobbyist modder can see it. it’s really demoralizing. just submit a bug fix

hanging out in mod servers and just observing how people make mods and solve problems is how i learned most of my modding skills tbh. but i have significantly pulled back from doing that and will just go use search functions if i get desperate enough for a solution.
