I'm returning to the Jumping Bean on Elizabeth Ave. in St. John's this Friday Aug 22 from 6:30-8:30. I'll premiere my new composition "Prayed for Rain" in a set that combines classical, jazz standards and original pieces.

Caught up with this challenge and attempted a solo over a 7/8 break by the great band @stopdroprewind.bsky.social . Tried to do something different with a fusion-tinged call and response approach Kept it improvised and didn't give myself too long.
