I also regret to say that when I start my mornings without my phone and go to bed with a book and not falling asleep while mindlessly scrolling I feel like I'm human again, like this internet thing doesn't control me

and not to sound superior btw, i really often struggle with keeping my hands off my phone, i deleted tik tok not to scroll for hours, and now i'm getting addicted to scrolling on insta. this phone addiction is a real shitter when you actually think about it

no one owes me or others anything, nor should stop going to events or enjoy themselves when they can afford it, i'm just saying its nice when something exclusive is shared with everyone, though as em said i also don't have answers to a lot of valid concerns

This right here. My issue with the whole debate really just boils down to yet another source of joy being behind a paywall, and the fandom being split between those that can afford and those that cannot. And like you said there is no easy solution to this.
