lmao, after i reseated the power supply connectors, i plugged it back in and now it turns on. great job team!

underneath some plastic (which i am guessing is some kind of EMI shielding?) we find the power supply board. it looks like a new one could be swapped in somewhat easily, although i haven’t had much luck finding ebay listings with working PSUs that are otherwise broken…

the MCU is on the far side of the power supply board, presumably so that it can be close to the LCD. it’s connected to the switch board by a little cable bundle

there’s really not a whole lot of PCBA going on here, which is unsurprising since it’s just a Layer 2 switch; basically just a switching ASIC, a MCU, and what looks like SFP transceiver VRM and hotswap bits
