Wolverine: Old Man Logan

It's a good one off story. A little too bleak for my tastes. A bit too edgy for It's own good if you ask me. But the story itself is good. Even if there's questionable elements. The book's pacing is fast so any individual thing is introduced and moved past quickly.

This movie beat my ADHD pattern recognition by anytime I was ahead of the movie roughly 10 minutes later they revealed my assumption. It kept me locked in. I can't believe this guy made a movie about Facebook.

This one shot of Rogue in X-Men 92 is incredibly funny in context. Because she doesn't look like this before or after this. Someone just got bored at work and said "No one can stop me."

Marvel Cosmic Invasion

This is a dope beat em up. I was really impressed with how different each character felt. It has a big focus on the space side of Marvel. Which is a massive blindspot for me. So I've never heard of the villain. He's also a massive chump and was incredibly easy to beat.

Deadpool & Wolverine

The credit montage really hit after watching all these movies back to back. There were rocky times. But it was fun, and I'm a little sad it's over. It's very funny that this was the big send off for Fox, then Disney hit the red button that said X-Men. See you all in Doomsday.

I was making an ordered list as I watched them. Then just converted it into a tier list.
December 7, 2025 at 9:39 PM
I'm really glad I did this. Here's my tier list ranking the X-Men movies. This is not in any way, how I thought this would be. Some of these really surprised me with how much I liked them. It can't be overstated how much worse the bottom 3 are than every other movie.

The New Mutants

This is the 4th movie to tease Mister Sinister and never get to it. I love the horror elements and Dani's power makes the movie focus on the characters. I think the acquisition worked in this movie's favor because it allowed it to be weird and different while the execs were busy.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

This movie took swings and I respect that a lot. They shouldn't have jumped straight to Dark Phoenix. But this was also right before the Fox/Disney acquisition. So they were never going to get the time. Magneto/Michael Fassbender remain the best part of this set of X-Men movies.
