Longer than it takes to prevent 90% of them from going insolvent.
Dunno how accurate this is, but it says we’ve invested far less in AI infra, even with the next 3 years included, than cellular infra. How long until everyone is willing to pay as much per month for AI as for their phone subscription?

Never forget that Paul Cozzens had his fingerprints all over the money including early 2024 at the height of the fraud. That money should be followed. #utpol
Blake Cozzens, who once led the Iron County GOP, will spend the next two years in federal prison. A federal judge said he stole more than $2 million from homeowners associations, property owners and tenants to fund a gambling habit. #utpol

You live your life thinking "yeah, I have too many USB-C cables" and then you count them when putting them away and realize you have over 40 of them.

I’ve missed the Twitter experience. Over here, when I say hello, nobody responds with “what about black on black crime in Chicago?”

Looking at details of Leo and comparing to Starlink.

- Much higher power use (1.5-2x)
- Higher bands requiring cleaner LoS, fewer birds to compensate

Gonna have to see what pricing looks like. builder.aws.com/content/36fv...

These kinds of double taps are not uncommon for high profile vulns. Don't wait to see if the scope ends up applying to you at some point in the future, just go ahead and patch.
If you're running React Server Components, you just can't catch a break. In addition to already-reported flaws, newly discovered bugs allow attackers to hang vulnerable servers and potentially leak Server Function source code, so anyone using RSC or frameworks that support it should patch quickly.
New React vulns leak secrets, invite DoS attacks
: And the earlier React2Shell patch is vulnerable

Honestly, I love Bostonians. Their blunt directness comes across as rude, but to me it's just getting right to the point. You can depend on them being brutally honest, but not in a malicious way. Have more Bostonians in your life.
This is a nonsense accusation. Bostonians are insufferably douchey to EVERYBODY. Any man or woman, whatever color or creed, can walk down the street confident that someone will tell them to go fuck themselves.
The Department of Housing and Urban Development said Thursday that it was opening an investigation into housing policies in Boston, scrutinizing whether the city discriminated against white people.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 deserved that outcome. I'm not saying that it's the best game that's ever existed, but it did enough things extremely well to earn the accolades.

It's actually bad that any public university runs semi-pro sports teams as a side hustle that almost always loses money.

Imagine being a supposed free market guy that thinks competition is good and then prescribing a solution that's "you know what, actually let's consolidate markets into even fewer players".

The GOP has no ideological moorings, just vapid catechisms.
Rand Paul on his healthcare plan: "What if you could join Costco? Costco has 44m members and if one person negotiated for all 44 and they bought a group plan like Toyota or General Motors does, they would be the largest collective entity in the country. They would drive prices down by sheer might."

CURTIS: All of us need to wake up every morning & say, 'what am I doing to make immigrants feel welcome' regardless of an individual says

BASH: But he's not just an individual. He's the president calling an entire community garbage

As someone who lived in Las Vegas for 14 years, the regulated stuff isn't all that great either.
I've become deeply radicalized against gambling. It's just getting more evil the longer it's allowed to fester unregulated

Love how I can reject an invite from a rando salesperson on LinkedIn, click the "I don't know this person" link, and LinkedIn will still email me about an hour later asking if I want to connect to them.

My experience is that the acquiring company is fine and the acquired company is almost always gutted for "redundancies" and "efficiencies". I got hit with this once and dodged it the next time.
as you dig through coverage of the Netflix Warner Bros merger, play a little game with me:

notice how many of them mention, at ALL, the two decade history of disastrous previous Time Warner mergers, and the massive layoffs, price hikes, and quality erosion that resulted
