I should have known that, one day, you would be haunting me as well.

Debi saber que, un dia, tu espiritu tambien me chocarrearia.
I honestly like the spontaneity more. I hate that a lot of my family photos are staged with people smiling. So now I just lie to people about when I took the photo, or when people are distracted doing something else.

Have a bunch of photos of my mother trying to organize the perfect shot.

There is a spreadsheet somewhere in japan called Virtual Boy, full of lost money, and some manager has decided to make it go into the black, in loving memory of Gunpei Yokoi.

Oh, fuck yeah. I had seen it work in the past but stopped at some point.

Had a dream that there was global panic about the world running out of oxygen, Nintendo was the only video game company to make a statement about it, and the internet collectively spent its final hours on Earth debating whether Nintendo was being genuine or not

Also Riot's 2xko, which as a fighting game is normally out of your beat, but also saw half a studio fired weeks after launch.

I wonder if they run well under linux / steamdeck.

Nothing like an emulation layer to keep things running.

Wonder if steam will add it on windows at some point.

Last delay unless they decide Marathon could use more work and Destiny gets shafted again.

There's also a little wasted circuitry in the 128kb mode that the VDP supported for no good reason. Or maybe it was there. Apparently devkits supported it... Maybe needed it? Hard to say, but it's still basically dead silicon.

Game Gear had a ton of colors, but only 32 on screen. Which was the same problem with the genesis, the colors on screen. The genesis with 2 or 4 palettes more but the same 512 colors would have been better than the same 4 palettes but the color gamut of the game gear.

There was an interview with the genesis designer where he said so.

Or do like the neogeo and include a small chip that was only in charge of removing lines from sprites to scale them down.

Scaler and more colors were deprioritazed. Master System compat was priority

Sega decided against putting sprite scaling on the Genesis.

But they still included the Master System video modes.

I think about this constantly. I have to assume the MS compatibility was not that expensive.
