I've played mainly the adventure mode so far but I'm already digging Fever way more than Aces
The sudden shift away from stamina is a little jarring, but I think simplifying the base gameplay to shift towards player controlled court hazards was a good decision for casual and competitive play alike

I think a lot about how they could've easily ended the game on a badass Ganondorf fight, but instead used the Forbidden Construct (even giving it the comically large health bar from TotK) to highlight the growth of the new characters

This Direct is kind of a testament to how the final showcase of a presentation can impact one’s perception of the showcase’s quality - I was thinking that this direct had a lot of promising new games but now my feelings are overran with “pay $60 to play this terrible looking version of Fallout 4”

In all seriousness I'm kind of over the wave of disappointment that follows literally every one of these showcases, I for one like that Nintendo has evolved the format into a Nintendo Direct without the games I already know I'm going to buy bc the games I'm unsure about are the interesting ones
