perfectly good game but it's just not the same... the game 'wants' you to have a broken build and actively facilitates it rather than just being a normal jrpg where you can do silly things if you want

Yeah; if there are no ingame tutorials I want a list of moves please so I don't get stuck 8 hours in because I don't know how to crawl

every one-time-purchase game not published by square enix is taken off the store 5-10 years after launch because it no longer makes enough money to justify compatibility updates; sucks that apparently not even bundling them all as a subscription can prevent this

Everyone loves getting a new tool halfway through each dungeon that recontextualizes its rooms up to that point so we took that out of the game
