By the way, I spent the entire game grinding as many different weapons and spells on Maria as possible to make Ultima good, and -- setting aside Toad -- it still did less damage than an elemental spell hitting a weakness. At least it was good against the Emperor. Ultima: not even once

Yeah. And I don't think that the staff are acting in bad faith or don't believe what they're saying or are secretly racist. I just think their idea of what RA is is kind of at odds with what it actually does
