Here to talk about all things gaming.

I will not give any spoilers. All I'm gonna say is yes about that slow start. But stick with it (trust me)

Also... Dying Light: The Beast if you like Dead Island 2 and DL2. It's a very very visceral and way more scary/moody combo of those combined with DL 1

With that said DL2 takes a bit to fire on all cylinders. Once you have all the right unlocks though...

Gasp! Dying Light 2 is eating Dead Island 2's lunch! It was so much more immersive to me

Dead Island 2 felt like a lesser experience overall and a "fix the power" sim. I got so tired of always looking for a battery over and over again

I loved it a ton. Need to get back to it asap. It was....bolts deep in me

LMAO I'm gonna call every mega early reveal a letter of intent from now on🤣
November 20, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Yup lol.

I think they're only in hardware for the few that are mega invested in their ecosystem with huge libraries. They don't want to leave them behind (yet).

But if we get more hardware like the Steam Machine then Xbox will bounce from hardware so fast since digital libraries transfer over
November 20, 2025 at 6:26 PM
I'm gonna say 650 (512 GB) and 800 (2TB). That's taking bill of materials and R&D into account with some very light subsidising

If they go over that though... Then there's open field for the 'premium' Xbox PC/console hybrid of $1200-1500
November 20, 2025 at 3:28 PM
It will be the lowest cost of entry into the PC space

And it's also the only ecosystem that has it all. PC, handheld, VR

So if you have a PC or/and a Deck, this is an excellent device for the TV so you can play your games anywhere
November 20, 2025 at 3:22 PM
Games are a ton cheaper, no sub required for online play etc. Regardless, the lifetime cost of the Steam Machine will be significantly lower than a PS5

And you can install literally all the other launchers and will get both Xbox and PS games on it

Those 8GB of VRAM though is an ouchie...

The medival vibe has never got me in games. But this is so beautiful that I might have to try it 👀

This aswell lol

I defintely think it is a happy-go-lucky place tho. Any sort of valid critisism (not rage bait etc) get almost no to no engagement

And I see people not wanting to post any critical aswell or excusing themselves for doing so

Maybe because of the collective PTSD from that other hell hole

Fingers crossed. I love that it's such a big hit since I love The Finals. So we need embark to do well
November 18, 2025 at 2:16 PM
That's great! Aesthetic, music and vibes are seriously peak so I'm a little bit salty that I couldn't get into it
November 18, 2025 at 2:15 PM
Yeah that is never the play. Friction only creates more friction. Now people will buy it to feel cool and bully the most aggressive anti-AI crowd🫠
November 18, 2025 at 2:13 PM
I personally didn't like Arc Raiders because of the movement mechanics, having to stare at menu-screens instead of having a physicalised space/hub to exist in between runs and that the shine faded fast once you 'complete' it

So I'm surprised the AI thing is what people was mad about😅
November 18, 2025 at 2:10 PM
Because it's an incredibly fun game that is ongoing. And you can literally earn credits for the warbonds, by just playing the game. And there's no FOMO mechanics

I can agree they shouldn't be in the best community support category though
