20,000 years into the future and archaeologists are studying their bunkers and wondering what those are about - must have been done for religious purposes, right. The worship of money. Horrible thought, they will see those horrible Mar-A-Lago & think that was what all women were supposed to look.

Gerald Kersh's novel The secret masters (1953) has to do with a plot by a cabal of billionaires to melt the ice caps and flood all the lower elevations while they buy up high-altitude real estate on which they build fortresses from which they will rule what is left of the world. Seems apt today.

And if not then familes with lots of children they can send off to work the farms or factories again, taking the US to their fantasized good old days when children worked.
