I grew up in Atlanta burbs, so we had mostly Southern Baptists/ Methodists, but I did know a girl who went to an actual snake-handling church. Now that I think about it, I also knew more Mormons than Catholics growing up. What a surprise to move and find out Catholicism isn’t a tiny fringe faith 😂

For smart, weird nephews - two years ago for mine, I gathered up a large Santa sack full of assorted candies from like 12 different nations of international groceries near me. HUGE hit and everyone taste-tested.

Meanwhile, when I made the reverse move from the South to Pittsburgh, it took me a minute to realize almost everyone was Catholic. We only had one Catholic church in our whole county - as a kid we went there on a Girl Scout field trip to explore other cultures. Two kids out of my 500 person class.

Sewing person check-in. Generally, I use the full bust measurement to compare to the men’s chest chart (unless you are fuller below the bust). Most men’s stuff is a rectangle, so if your waist is larger than chest, use the largest part of your vertical torso that needs to go in the rectangle.
