Sometimes the best way to think is to just let the pen wander. Today was less about "drawing something" and more about finding the balance between the ink and the empty space. A bit messy, a bit tangled, but it feels right.

Getting lost in the weave today. 🧵

Tried a study of texture using black ink and watercolor. It’s surprisingly hard to keep track of the "over/under" logic once you get into the rhythm! A good exercise for patience and shading, even if the lines are a bit loose

Sometimes you don't need a "real" subject, just the rhythm of the lines and the flow of the paint. It was a meditative way to play with volume and texture without the pressure of perfection.

Some phone calls just need a pen in hand to get through them. 📞 This wasn't a chill conversation, and I think the jagged lines show it. It’s better to put that nervous energy on paper than keep it in my head.
