Some evidence of friendly fire in @thewaroncars.bsky.social on Bryant Ave tonight.

I saw a gaggle of green line trains just south of Shady Oak station this morning. I feel like a proud dad watching his kids take first steps.

Some construction on going still at West Lake Station, but look what they let me do this morning!

How many tries does it take to park legally?

What an unbelievable turn of events! Citation issued!

A pickup and Uhaul blocking both Bryant bikeway and the sidewalk.

I can not figure out how someone would even consider this to be appropriate.

Submitted to the city as an accessibility issue. I feel like i already know the resolution to this.

While I'm talking about 50th, I may as well expand. Of all the streets in my neighborhood, this is by far the most hostile to non-drivers.

These pictures are between Lynnhurst Park and Bryant on 50th. What I would give to comfortably walk from the park to the coffee shop with a stroller.

This place is so big.

Do you know why there are so many people buried here? Everyone's dying to get in.

My daughter has been home sick and refuses to sleep unless she's on a bike ride. So we did 15 miles this morning, going as slow as possible. Meandered through Lakewood Cemetery looking for the ghost of Hubert Humphrey.

In Minnesota, drivers are required to stop for pedestrians at BOTH marked and unmarked crosswalks. Here I am at one of my least favorite streets, 50th, at one of my least favorite intersections, 50th and Aldrich. Let's see how long it takes for someone to follow the law.

6 years ago, we moved to a house that made Lake Harriett walks very easy. We wondered if we would start to take it for granted at some point. Hasn't happened yet.

Hot tip for Josh. I'm nowhere near Ward 8. Would not recommend voting for him. Seems incompotent.

I feel like this city could do a lot more with the lakes especially in the winter. We could learn from how Ottowa uses the Rideau Canal - a five mile long canal that freezes in the winter. Every mile or so they have little shops - coffee, poutine, other Canadian delicacies - and heated bathrooms.

What happens when you report traffic control parked in a bike lane to traffic control? Probably what always happens: nothing.

I reported this before 8 am today. Still no word if parking enforcement has arrived. Crossing my fingers /s.

Lawn signs showed up today. Doing my part to balance Ward 13. Maybe one day we can get a council candidate I'd be happy to include.

My 4 year old noticed the rainbow on our bike ride to child care this morning. I would have missed it.

When I saw this conversation first going on here, I was frustrated because the discussion was focused on anecdotal experiences. So I looked up some data and found that, in 2022, MSP is among the lowest of all major metro areas in average annual daily walking trips:
