These two things are true:
1) Shooting National Guard members is horrific and criminal.
2) So is putting National Guard members in harm’s way to score political points.

A reminder: Trump 1.0 ordered the Afghanistan withdrawal, and Trump 2.0 granted the shooter asylum this past April. Trump 2.0 also dismantled the joint terrorism task force, and gutted our national security apparatus.

Once again; you can't moderate your way to neutralizing an issue like immigration.

It's fundamentally just racist reaction. Nothing is ever enough because what's demanded—ethnonationalist homogeneity—is completely unavailable in modern conditions. There will *always* be a basis for more demagoguery

People in the U.S. need to be paying attention to what’s happening in the U.K., because it’s going hand in hand with what is happening in the U.S., the agitators at work on both sides of the pond are working hand in hand with each other, and both have similar goals of ethnic cleansing.

As topics become more political, public perception of them becomes more distorted by political belief and communication. When you tell people elections are all about the economy, stupid, you are convincing Republicans that Democratic economies are bad.

As I keep saying, the liberal left should be less defensive about the culture war. You're goddamn right we started the war, it's a holy war against millennia of oppression and we damn well mean to finish the job
The only major faction which does not believe it is the far right, which understands itself to be in a cultural battle for hearts and minds which is only glancingly correlated with economic anything. It’s worked out wonderfully for them

He’s literally just some guy, that’s the whole point of having a president and not a king. You can tell him to get bent and all he can do is sputter.
I can’t believe people in the room don’t push back. It doesn’t matter if he’s the president, part of holding him accountable is standing up to his bullying— especially if he’s doing it right in front of your face

You're a high ranking government official and you shouldn't make things up.

Your 70% number is just a fabrication.

And it's TOTALLY not true that "every single" person you detained is here illegally. For instance, many were allowed in so they could apply for asylum.

Notice that MAGA never refers to Putin as a “warmonger.” You know, the guy who started the war, bombs civilian population centers daily, & refuses to sign a ceasefire. Nope, according to MAGA, Putin isn’t the warmonger - it’s the people who support Ukraine’s refusal to surrender.
