This version of D&D ("The Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Game", 2e-based introductory boxed set, copyright 1999) has an owlbear illustration that looks like it's supposed to be flying.
In no version of D&D, including this boxed set, are owlbears able to fly.

Final note: the Blu-Ray DRM includes a way for a Blu-Ray disc to brick a Blu-Ray player. And future players could be built to not play old discs.
