Trans Lobby Plant
@effiarya.bsky.social
Ex-gender critical. Ally since 2020. Trans rights activist since 16/04/2025.

If I shitpost too hard, and come off as a TERF/anti-rights troll, presume I just have garbage humour that comes across weird.
I wrote to father christmas and DEMANDED that my gift this year is leftism daddy as prime minister.

My hope is back in full force! I will write to father christmas EVERY DAY until my hopes are granted and my wish comes true!

This is a day of victory for common sense and human rights! No more will anti human rights campaigners be able to to terrorise the vulnerable with their regressive ideology.

No rights have been lost, and the law is clear - if they can't cope with shared spaces, they can campaign for their own.

Oh that's pretty interesting.

The TERF line is that the latter cases constitute objective justification to facilitate the provision of single/separate sex services.

But I'm reading this like the judge is suggesting the Equality Act doesn't lay out boundaries for objective justification?

I really liked this one.

I lean heavily away from gender studies and philosophy, since I tend towards harder science to back up my position.

She did a really good job of walking me through the viewpoints here. It helped me to introspect, and think about underlying assumptions that I've long had.

On a somewhat lighter note, the fact that late July is "only weeks ago" is indicative of how insanely packed and unyielding the last 5 months have been!

Sorry you're being treated this way, Jolyon. You're a good person fighting for others even though your reward is to be treated similarly.

And laugh :D

Some of the best anti-rights activism is based around shaming good people into submission.

Funny enough, the tactic works even better against anti-rights activists!

Don't worry too much! He's running on a populist platform, so doesn't have the burden of having to appear 'moderate' when he can counter much easier with "Think whatever you want. You vote for me, and I stop billionaires destroying our country. That's why I'm winning."
November 20, 2025 at 2:21 PM
Same, friend.

Tbh, I get Corbyn. I'm a left-winger who believes in centrist, diplomatic politics. But that is _not_ working in this era. Right-wing populism must be countered by left-wing populism.

So each month I meet my local Greens to determine how our evil goals will be enacted.

WE MUST BE ABLE TO AFFORD BOTH AVOCADO TOAST AND HOUSING.

Leaked conversation between EHRC and Phillipson:

Falkner - "Hello Bridget."
Bridget - "Hello, Falkner, how are you?"
Falkner - "I'm alright. Did you check the code?"
Bridget - "I did. Onto business?"
Falkner - "Absolutely."
Bridget - "Right, Question 1 - What the actual FUCK ARE YOU DOING?"

I like to hold competing ideas in my head!

"I'm gonna love you anyway, you absolute piece of shit.

Enjoy a stable housing market, excellent healthcare, and freedom from private investment companies raiding our national services, asshole."
November 20, 2025 at 12:45 PM
I feel this, friend.

I have so much pain in my heart over what the hatred of one group has done to so many people I love.

For me, kindness to those I disagree with is a position I hold counter to my emotions, but because I believe it's the right thing to do.
November 20, 2025 at 12:40 PM
To me, a vote for Green is a vote for people I disagree with to be better off, too, because we ALL deserve equality.

We've all gotten so used to fighting each other over the scraps of inequality that the billionaires made off with the entire pie!

WE WANT YOU TO HAVE A SLICE TOO, REFORM!
November 19, 2025 at 11:33 PM
"Maybe those one in ten know something we don't know?"
"No, they simply know fuck all."
November 18, 2025 at 4:38 PM
"Barely one in 10 voters are satisfied with its performance – a figure comparable to the proportion of the public who believe the moon landings were staged."

The moment a question is formed, the writer shuts it down in their favour. When the writing's good from the beginning, it's gonna be great.

The biggest problem for these commenters is that most of us grew up empathising with the weird theatre kids, and despising the bullies who attacked them.

And now they're angry, because we've decided that one of the kids they hated is going to be our next Prime Minister.

God speed, based human rights defender
November 12, 2025 at 3:18 PM
You know what? I do want lower bills. And I want billionaires to pay for it!

You have won my vote, and my heart, populeftism daddy
November 9, 2025 at 10:15 PM
No you don't understand

If we perform statutory interpretation where we derive only the ordinary meaning of those statutes, maintaining purposive interpretation only when it's politically salient to do so, we can clearly derive that the Equality Act reads as "We need to destroy trans people"
