I've inherited enough SharePoint and Confluence sites in my time that now simplicity is my co-pilot when it comes to these sites. It's no wonder that both products cause end users to have emotional baggage because of them.

Yup, a 'chilling effect', as they say. And it is especially awful for the honest people who work to compile true data that their political leaders have set them up to fail in the public eye.
