Regarding the East Wing demolition, I have a silly question. Apparently the Presidential Emergency Operations Center is in a bunker and hardened facility underneath the East Wing, a secure shelter in time of emergencies. What exactly happens to that?
Minor detail, Trump was in office during the COVID 'lockdown'

AZ AG Mayes: We have people in Arizona who are being actively harmed by Mike Johnson playing politics and apparently trying to protect the Epstein files. That’s not okay. We’re going to fight as hard as we can to put an end to it and to get Adelita Grijalva sworn in.
Lets just say I would not bet against that

He's taking our tax money regardless of what is legal, right?

He's stealing our taxes. Every day in every way. He is stealing your social security, defence spending, Medicare, all of it.

He's stealing our taxes. It's what oligarchs do. It's what his heroes do.

Trump said to demand DOJ pay him $230 million
The situation has no parallel in American history, as Trump, a presidential candidate, was pursued by federal law enforcement and eventually won the election.

I’ve taken four AI job interviews.

- You ready for the facility costs (power/space/maint)?
- You ready to ramp up operational support staff?
- You ready for migration costs?
- You ready for all the parallel testing to ensure smooth transition?
- You ready when you have your first outage (on premise does not mean no outages)
So with the latest AWS outage behind us, the mad rush to go 'back on premise' discussion has already started. I am neither for nor against, depends on the business case but... (1/2)
He specifically said when he announced the ballroom, the original structure will not be touched. Sure looks like touching to me

Paving over the rose garden was blood awful. Demolishing part of the White House itself??? 🤯 How is that not a protected, historic building?
Scoop: Trump has started demolishing the White House's East Wing facade to build his ballroom. The president had claimed construction of the $250 million building wouldn’t ‘interfere’ with the existing White House structure. /W @ddiamond.bsky.social wapo.st/4hqBNiU

Your occasional reminder ...

Republicans are the majority in the House and Senate, have the Presidency, control SCOTUS.

REPUBLICANS SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT

REPUBLICANS CAN END THE SHUTDOWN IN 5 MINUTES

Democrats cannot 'shut down the government'. The minority simply doesn't have that power.
Sadly he will just ignore them like he does all the other court orders saying he is acting illegally

You're forgetting that we went to war in 1776 to *keep* King George. The Confederacy won the Civil War. And we were supposed to join World War II on the Axis side, but FDR signed the declaration of war upside down.
Sadly all media is now bending the knee
