and every one of these things can be controlled from anything with API access! every single one!

Every single one of these was run on the exact same playlist, with shuffle enabled - the only thing I changed was what song was at the very end of the queue.
That last track defines the *entire* auto-queue. I have zero fucking idea why they thought this was a good idea.
Spotify does not do this.
