The actual news item notwithstanding, it's always interesting how this one Social Security office in northern Glendale, Arizona, is the default editorial image for the Social Security Administration in the @nytimes.com.

Patio weather before it snows again? In March? The weather here is awfully mercurial.
This image shows a creative chandelier or light fixture made from repurposed glass bottles in various colors - primarily green, blue, and clear. I think I’ve officially become a Minnesotan: playing cribbage in a tournament in a VFW Post in Wabasha, Minnesota. It was also the Grumpy Old Men festival (yes, after the movie), so there was a lot of flannel.
