I just had an amazing 15 minutes today watching How to Build an MVP from Y Combinator. 🚀

After working with startups most of my career, one thing is clear: building a startup is the fastest way to learn. Here’s what I’ve seen people get wrong... 👇

The first 100 users, after 2 weeks of poor marketing,

I get about 5 feedbacks from users. Some of them are very interesting.

Next stop: Fix bugs and create more features for users.

Not sure when it started, but I’ve been obsessing over small build details—like route sizes in my projects.

Crazy how going deeper into tech makes you notice the little things.

Deepseek just released Model R1, which has strong equality to OpenAI O1 but is much cheaper.

This is instant and a great chance for indie hackers to optimize their products if they use OpenAI API.

Hi all, today I'd like to share my payment flow which I have focused on for a couple of weeks. It is suitable for LemonSqueezy or Stripe.

Here's how the server processes it:
1. Receives & validates webhook event
2. Records event (ID, name, status) & processes by type
3. Updates status & logs errors

This week, I will try to complete the payment for WorkplaceTime, and there are two things I’ve learned.
The price isn’t about me—it’s about my customers.

Does the product provide value to them?
How much time or value does it create?

Your pricing should feel like a steal for the results they get.

Recently I found that as I approach a product launch, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed because I want
✅ Better landing page
✅ Better features
✅ Better pricing

The urge to perfect delay me forever

Solution I think:
1️⃣ Focus on tasks with the highest impact.
2️⃣ Be patient—done is better than perfect.

The mistake that held me back from building my product was this question:
What if someone copies my idea?

The truth
Ideas are cheap; execution is everything.

Actions you can take:
Focus on action, not the fear.
Instead of worrying, look for better, faster, and smarter ways to execute your vision.

Small update to the time counter configuration!

This comes from my personal experience of wanting to easily switch between different time intervals, like 5 minutes to 25 minutes or 30 minutes to 5 minutes.

This update makes the process smoother and more convenient for everyone!

Building MVP is definitely the go-to choice but at least it has to work first 😁

The simplest way to know if it works or not is to become your first customer of your product and try to see it every day.

Adding a custom cursor is a small change that makes a big impact!

It creates a unique look, helps users locate the cursor easily, and adds personality to the site.

I implemented this in WorkplaceTime yesterday—it only took 10 minutes but it made a huge difference!

I built FocusBoard in just one day with the help of AI!

The Eisenhower Matrix has always been my inspiration for organizing and categorizing tasks, and now I use it to jot down all my daily tasks.

It’s live at focusboard.workplacetime.com.

I had so much fun building it—check it out!

As an indie hacker, I think we all reach a point where we have tons of ideas in our heads and feel tempted to jump straight into coding, abandoning our current projects. But this often leads to nothing getting done, leaving you with nothing to show.

I have a trick to help you with this 🫰

I'm shipping the next feature for WorkplaceTime from a coffee shop!

This week has been incredibly busy for me. There’s so much to do, but I’ve also learned a lot. Here are two lessons I’d like to share about building features for your own product:

Thing that keep me using X.
Why other AI tool doesn't have this mode 😀

The IT field is changing rapidly with the help of AI.

If you enjoy using Cursor as your editor but find it too expensive, you can check out Codeim Windsurf—an affordable alternative to Cursor at half the price.

It’s perfect for students and engineers on a tight budget
