That's Martok. Played by J.G.Hertzler. Likely the best performance of a Klingon character since the original Trek's Kor (a superb John Colicos) and Kang (an equally great Michael Ansara)😊

Yes,I think so. He appeared in a lot of movies and tv. But I don't think he ever again got as juicy a role as this fellow #cinemon

@sonofkaras.bsky.social Ever see "Chamber of Horrors"? Patrick O'Neal is amazing as Jason. One of those performances that make one wonder - why didn't he become a bigger star?
December 2, 2025 at 4:16 AM
It's a riveting, exciting tale of search for an insane serial killer. Is called "Chamber of Horrors"(but, despite the title,it isn't a horror movie).Film opens with him getting married. To a woman he's just murdered!(yes,he's insane).Killer is played, superbly,by Patrick O'Neal.Really good film #cinemon

Wayne Rogers played a detective in this excellent thriller about the search for an insane killer. Anyone know the film? #cinemon

One reason 1951 A Christmas Carol received mixed reviews when it first came out in UK was its darkness. People were just NOT expecting something THIS dark at Xmastime.Well,Dickens' father spent time in a workhouse. And his son was shaped by that.Horrors of Industrial Revolution are on full view here

No,it's the HAL-9000 computer from Stanley Kubrick's "2001 - A Space Odyssey",made in 1968. It was the first science fiction film to highlight the potential dangers of AI becoming "self aware". A brilliant film😊

Now you've gone and hurt this fellow's feelings! (just kidding,I'm very wary of AI myself)
November 17, 2025 at 10:37 PM
History of "Wonderful Life" was similar to that other perennial Xmas film-"A Christmas Carol"(1951).Made/released in England,it wasn't even seen in North America for several yrs.It came and went.Seemingly.Then a station in NYC began to run it.A LOT🙂It,too, found its audience,as its reputation spread

Pic on the left is what the view of the harbor looked like at peak snowfall. Pic on the right is what it looks like now. As promised, there IS a small island with a lighthouse in this part of the harbor😊
