In case anyone else wants to remove all of their posts on twitter/X, I can vouch for this script working well and being straightforward to use. there's a video that walks you through the process in case you're a web noob like me, and it made an overwhelming ordeal much much easier.
When I left I used this script to delete everything. I had to run it a few times because I had quite a bit of history, but it eventually got most everything
