It’s almost as if she doesn’t know how taxes work.
Rachel Reeves: "It is not right that people who don't go to university bear the cost for others to." I don't use local leisure centres and I don't drive, so will I be made exempt for taxation that pays for all that stuff? Or is it only education we'll be going after

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Lately, I've been checking radio news plus online news sites early morning in case of an escalation in world disorder.
When Iraq/Afghanistan invasions happened, it was on the other side of the world. This now feels more like the gnawing sense of unease that would come along regularly in the 1980s.

Is the film of White Noise as aimless in the last 60 minutes as it is in the first 75 minutes?
Apart from being a masterclass in priduct placement, I'm struggling to work out what it's trying to be.

On the last day of 2025, I tried to sum up in this free piece the big stories of the year. Boil it down, however, and one story surpasses all others, be that for the Russo-Ukraine war or global geopolitics overall.
