Sunday morning with a cup of coffee. Looking out Mom's window, I see that the couple of pigeons (or ddove?) is back in the tree... they are now grooming themselves and each other. 🥰

We've got two cats This is Mr. Pine, named so because when we brought him home from the pound, he escaped into a nearby pine tree.

This afternoon, my mom,bonus-dad, sis, BIL, celebrated #Sinterklaas. We played games, had snacky food, and exchanged gifts accompanied by bad poetry. 😆 My fav gift are two coasters.

Today at the Plus in Brielle, Kids could pick up their paper-crafted shoe they set for #Sinterklaas. It came with a couple of treats and a gift. My colleague was a 'smudged Piet' helper.

'Just' a trip around town with Mom. She wanted to talk with everybody she knows, or even don't know, so it took 2,5 hrs ... we got to see Sinterklaas though, and got some treats, pepernoten and kruidnoten.

Clash of the holidays. Potted #xmas trees arrived today at the grocery store. Little decorated paper shoes for #Sinterklaas hang above them. Kids will get treats on December 5th, and there'll be a winner.

My bike's headlight quit working & it needed a new dynamo (generator).
The new dynamo was delivered today at my elderly neighbor (84) who was recently hospitalized.
After sharing her experience she asked about my life and was so loving and encouraging.
