I've always felt this was the kind of story Hickman wanted to write about Peter, the average everyman who inspires others to rise up, with Peter's development purposely placed on the back burner to allow for the rest of the cast to shine and show that there is more to Spider-Man, than Peter Parker

Okay, I do think some of the reaction is a bit too much, like some saying Seeley's some Neil Gaiman mfer, but this story is genuinely obscene. How did this get approved? Was Tom Breevort's hatred of Magik that deep?
