I forgot my Kindle in a hotel in Budapest. Thru the power of our nomad friendship network, I got it back here in Maine!
It traveled by suitcase and hand offs from Bulgaria to Sophia to Georgia to Moldova to London to New York and then by USPS to Maine!!!! 90 days of communication and hope!

Yesterday, just 24 hours after our appointment with the Greek Consulate in Houston, we received our Greek Visa. I've never been more relieved. I feel like we're one second ahead of the clock, and we can't return to our full-time travel fast enough.

The @nytimes.com released its top 50 restaurants. We just happened to be near @chopnblok and grabbed lunch. Vegetarian for the win.

This is the WORST possible outcome and saddest decision for a balanced and free press. I had so much hope that the fall of FOX was coming. Sadly, a divided country is not going to heal because of this decision. The US actually had a chance to heal post Murdoch death. The billionaires blew it.
