i took the bus cuz i saw there were train delays
saw there was a crash so got off the bus. got on train cuz the delays appeared to clear.
got stuck in a tunnel for 15 minutes because of delays at a different stop.
gave up and bought an uber :/ one of those days.

also starting to get fed up with our fuck-ass government and governor like what do mean you have til the end of tomorrow to figure out how to fund transit and your only answer is taxing streaming, entertainment, and "unrealized gains" on billionaire wealth lol.

chicago area transit has no meaningful way to get funded through the end of next year idk what to even do anymore lol. this place will be hell with the cta / metra in an even worse state. it's amazing that it's managed to last this long.
