I’ve heard some many times, “If we could just get rid of Trump …”, that I wonder if people reason the depth and breadth of the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025. Take a moment to read this thread, and think about how far we have to go to get back to something we’ll recognize as “normal”.

It should come as no surprise that a percentage of Trump’s base is raving about the capture of Venezuela’s Maduro. These are some of the same people who thought storming the United States Capitol five years ago and trying to injure or kill lawmakers and cops was a reasonable idea.

It should come as no surprise that a percentage of Trump’s base is raving about the capture of Venezuela’s Maduro. These are some of the same people who thought storming the United States Capitol five years ago and trying to injure or kill lawmakers and cops was a reasonable idea.
If they can’t stand up for this guy, you know they don’t have the courage to stand up against that other guy. We are already half-cooked.

To the person who years ago, irresponsibly let their toddler have access to tiny batteries like this, which caused the industry to make the packaging so damn tamper resistant, do better.

I don’t know what the answer is to creating stability in government. But I think that a 20-year term and/or an age limit of 70 for all members of Congress would be a good start. And a total and complete divestiture and prohibition against owning or trading U.S. stocks should also become law.
