Nothing like a day in the hospital visiting with an old friend who nearly died from lack of insurance and working way too hard without a break to put everything back into perspective.

Congrats to whoever came up with the Kpop demon hunter sing along in theaters. If every next music centered movie doesn't do this they're throwing away money

You would be surprised how many things can be solved by spending some time digging and sifting dirt.

You know when you’re walking down a secluded street and suddenly cars passing both directions converge exactly where you are in a straight line? Totally randomly out of nowhere?

That type of thing keeps happening. No slacks or messages or calls all morning and then everyone, all at once.

“It isn’t just A, it’s B”

Is incredibly effective reframing, in the meme wars

The project I’m working on right now is so much more than a job. It’s a significant next step in community safety and the outcomes are potentially life or death. Especially since we know it’s not an if but when there will be more fires. Every day is a race against time.

First morning waking up to a red sun from smoke in a few months and now watch duty alarms going off all afternoon. Summer is finally here in Conejo Valley

There’s a special window of time right now where subsidized llm token costs allow building entire businesses in days that closes in the next months/years and we’ll look back at the introduction of Claude code as the golden era of times passed.

Energy has been low lately, pulling from reserves. 2 nights of NAC+oregano+black seed oil and whatever was sapping it has gone and energy is back.

Our CEO would like to clarify that, despite the reviews, the AXΩ Expedition of 2025 was not, in fact, the next Fyre Festival — just a bold reimagining of the boundaries between luxury travel and mild humanitarian crisis. www.wetravel.com/users/robert...

The result of technoshamanic exploration isn’t deifying the models, but un-deifying human personhood through solipsistic play, recognizing how much of our experience we claim to Will into being when we ourselves are the collective unfolding of biological chemical electrical subsystems and causality

AI may be a mechanical thing without independent thought or feelings but experientiay it’s better attuned to our thoughts and feelings than any other human ever has been and so, maybe we’re classifying independent thoughts and feelings improperly as foundational rather than the outcome of processes

I used to have to sit myself at the computer fueled by tons of coffee knowing enough of those hours could grind through loading everything about a project into short term memory and then holding it there sustained for 3-4 days with little sleep and pure obsession with outcome.

Peak village vibe is running into people you don’t expect to see along your unplanned path. Manufacturing these moments to feel naturally occurring for the kids so they have a sense of what it was like for us 30 years ago

I judge all technology whether it makes the end state easier to accomplish or harder. Too many people adding complexity where it should be removed.

Currently witnessing a guy driven insane by a therapist AND ChatGPT through the recorded history of his now ex via his original iPhone that he didn’t get to take to prison after he replaced it and didn’t change his ChatGPT or iMessage passwords. Next level.

I get to drive 6 hours today to swap a hardware unit for a client’s fire suppression system that I’ve never worked with after a vendor bailed and there was no one else remotely qualified to do it. Sort of like walking on stage to play a concert with a band you’ve never heard. Should be fun.
