“Conversation with Smaug”, by JRR Tolkien, for 1937’s “The Hobbit”.
I’ve no idea what state of mind Tolkien was in when he painted it. But every time I’ve seen it, and I’ve seen it a lot, I get the impression that he was having a really great time. It’s so zestful, in its details & as a whole.

So I made a #PF2e build based on shadow and darkness spells that I called the "Shadowmancer." One of the cooler spells in their repertoire is "Swallow Light."
It does two things! First, you try to extinguish magical light within 30ft. If you do, you use the energy to expel a cone of cold!

All INT classes are S Tier in #pathfinder2e because of how monstrously powerful INT is as a stat in this system, Reddit can go suck an egg.

So I saw a guy wearing the exact same red sweater/jeans combo as me, and I said to him "nice outfit!" to him as a little joke, and he said "thanks!" And I imagine him now at his desk thinking he's a snazzy dresser, and I'm okay with that.
