It's World Rivers day this Sunday, a great reason to get out and enjoy some sunshine. It's free entry, live music (The Eastern) Kai by Ōtākaro Orchard, interactive workshops, kids’ activities, and plenty of opportunities to learn about river care, biodiversity, and community projects

I'm really interested to watch this - PRIME MINISTER, releasing in cinemas across New Zealand on 25 September 2025. I'm sure it will be an emotional yet inspiring documentary about one of our greatest leaders.

So far the Government has:
❌Halted Pay Equity claims
❌Extended the 90 day trial
❌Implemented real-term minimum wage cuts
❌Repealed Fair Pay Agreements
❌Removed union protections for new workers
❌Cut thousands of public sector jobs
…So I’ve taken the liberty of renaming the Minister’s portfolio.

The coalition has used urgency to pass a record number of Bills into law.
That means 19 Bills have become law that had:
❌No public submissions
❌Limited scrutiny by opposition
❌Rushed debate
❌No time to improve the bill
