Truly ICE are the Black and Tans of America.
Thomas detailed brutal BOP + ICE conditions, worsening amid mass detentions:

-lockdown for days, cut off from family

-1hr outdoor time / week

-given stained used underwear + bloody jumpsuits

-no medical care

-immigrants denied translators

-fed “disgusting” mystery meat slop, left malnourished

Very powerful TV, I think I remember it.
We have a superb statue of Trevor Chadwick in my (his home) town, of whom Sir Nicholas said
"Chadwick did the more difficult and dangerous work after the Nazis invaded… he deserves all praise.”

A great time to remind everyone that the largest landlord in the Gaeltacht is now a British company letting Airbnbs.
Watch now they'll call me an elitist for bringing up that lucht na Gaeltachta are often at a severe disadvantage in terms of housing and opportunity and they don't get much support outside of their own community

A masterpiece of investigative journalism (only slightly undone by excess background cello music) - important stuff for #speirgorm #ireland

Artist whose work I enjoyed at the RDS this weekend.

1. Mary Wallace

Interesting effect of waxes with pigment in melted together then sculpted on the canvas with a palette knife. There was a sort of forest of trees image where this worked very well.
