Honestly good for you that you have a space to spread your creative energy, wether it be here or somewhere more personal.

That’s why visual art forms like film/television are so appealing to me. They’re inherently collaborative, and inspiration can come from anyone participating.

I think some people have interpreted the song as making fun of/pittying her?

Very much agreed, but I think for more intense experiences (any triple A game released this year and after), the Steam Machine could be that new benchmark. Having a set standard for how a game should perform would be fantastic for the industry.

One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made, it’s a fantastic price of technology.

With how Sony is now putting their exclusives on PC two-ish years after initial launch, the market for Steam could grow substantially if they sold a way to get the PC experience with the console convince.

$100 more than the Steam Deck sounds right.
November 12, 2025 at 10:34 PM
That feels too cheap, but I wonder if that’s the idea. The Steam Deck is already sold at a loss, Valve knows that they can make up the money easily through people buying more games. If the cube/headset combo ends up being around $800, that would be a great deal.

Day One, easily.

Was waiting on getting into VR specifically because 1, I figured the new Valve one would probably be a better stand-alone experience (excited to see the specs on this) and 2, I do not want Zuck to scan my face.

Having the option the choose between a joystick or a trackpad on my Steam Deck has been fantastic and it’s hard for me to go back. If the controller is fine tuned just right, it could be my new go-too.

Tbf it’s not the first time.
November 12, 2025 at 6:25 PM
Although the headset/controller/cube combo may end up costing around $1000, but comparatively I still think that’s a good deal.

I think marketing this as a VR collaboration would be smart, too. The Headset may be able to work on its own, but maybe with the Cube is how you’ll run stuff like Half Life Alyx (or HL3????). It’s a good way to get into the good VR stuff without dropping $1000 on a PC.
