Rob Reiner had the talent to work in different genres & directed many films I consider to be great like Misery, The Princess Bride, Stand by Me & This Is Spinal Tap. It's nothing compared to the tragic news of his death & the death of his wife, Michele.

Also during the last visit to HMV before Christmas, I picked up the new physical media release from 88 Films, the Blu-ray of "Over Your Dead Body" directed by the insanely fun Takashi Miike.

One last visit to HMV before Christmas to pick up some new physical media releases & one is the Blu-ray of "The Long Walk" one of the best films of the year with outstanding performances from Cooper Hoffman & David Jonsson.

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa was one of the most familiar character actors on TV & film. His credits include many titles I enjoy like "Kubo and the Two Strings" but he knew how to be the ultimate villain in "Mortal Kombat" & "Showdown in Little Tokyo".

My recent buy from HMV is the latest Limited Edition Blu-ray release from Arrow Video is the influential City on Fire (1987) by Ringo Lam & starring an acting legend of Hong Kong cinema, Chow Yun-fat.
