I'm just a humble country lawyer trying to do the best I can against the big-time city folk so I can enjoy movies, horrors & my obsession with physical media.

Rob Reiner had the talent to work in different genres & directed many films I consider to be great like Misery, The Princess Bride, Stand by Me & This Is Spinal Tap. It's nothing compared to the tragic news of his death & the death of his wife, Michele.

Also during the last visit to HMV before Christmas, I picked up the new physical media release from 88 Films, the Blu-ray of "Over Your Dead Body" directed by the insanely fun Takashi Miike.

"Silent Night, Deadly Night" is a mix of Bill Paxton's Frailty & Venom with a bit of Christmas magic. A holiday love story between two good people who do very bad things in a bloody entertaining update of the 1984 original.

The stupidest part about people complaining about Tarantino's recent opinions, is that you know they have said worse. I've seen people comment on every post that has a difference of opinions, can't move on from 10 year old film or openly mock the death of a director's daughter.
