Strongly recommend sorting NIN out, you won't use it too often these days as a subjob but when you need it, its invaluable.

You'll need decentish Fast Cast and a decent amount of magic haste to be able to reliably keep shadows up though since he likes to cast AOE debuffs which will wipe shadows, I can go into more detail about that elsewhere if you need me to

Savage Blading him, avoiding SCs and magic damage so you don't accidentally heal him and going /NIN to keep shadows up is your best bet, most of his attacks are absorbed by Utsusemi

Not saying you should make this into a guide for somewhere but you totally should
